Wandilla Magic provides a nurturing environment presenting child centered programs that foster development and enable children to learn, grow and live creatively. Recognising the importance of the parental role, the primary focus is on the individual child within the context of his/her family.
Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of the individual child. It is based on the Principles, Practices and Learning Outcomes outlined in the Early Years Learning Framework that ensures children are provided with the key fundamentals to achieve success in later life.
At Wandilla Magic We Provide An Inclusive Curriculum.
All Children are learning in a safe environment promoting a sense of belonging and we have a strong connectedness with our families and our community.
Our Curriculum planning cycle is influenced by an inquiry led curriculum and is designed to further continue the children’s ongoing learning and development through supporting relationships with families and educators.
Our children’s learning portfolios are displayed in each of our classrooms and are available to our families to access so that you may see the significant learning experiences which have occurred and have been thoughtfully documented by our teachers and educators.
Extra Curricular Program
Any extra curricular programs that are provided are done so free of charge so that every child has the opportunity to enjoy Happy Feet Dance and Fitness, Yoga and time with Uncle Gene. Parents will be notified of any additional charges for special events or one off shows.
The Abecedarian Approach
By integrating aspects of the Abecedarian Approach into our curriculum, our incredible team can enhance children’s abilities by providing stimulating interactions. The educators will implement strong serve and return practices to build their capacity for conversation and mold a strong sense of self.
A rich focus on language ensure that each child gets the very best start to life.
Transition To School Program
Wandilla Magic is committed to the delivery of a high quality transition to school program to ensure your child is confident and supported in their transition to school.
Our Kindergarten Program is based on the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and is led by our qualified Early Childhood Teacher to support your child’s further learning with a focus on early literacy, as well as individual and group planned activities to support all areas of our curriculum. We work in partnership with Loganholme State School and have regular excursions and lunch box visits, which enable our children to meet with teachers and become confident and familiar with the school environment before their journey and transition to Prep.
